About the Food Science Hills Project
The Food Science Hills Project is a Shizuoka Prefecture initiative that seeks to support the food industry in order to accomplish two main objectives: economic development in Shizuoka Prefecture and contributing to better health for all the World’s people. It pursues these goals in a manner sensitive to social undercurrents, such as the rising demand for functional foods, demanding for safe and secure foods, and an expansion of new food product markets.
To advance the various accomplishments previously achieved, we are implementing the Food Science Hills Project Second Strategic Plan (FY 2015–2019).
